How to increase the maximum brightness when using Windows on a Macbook
After performing installed Winows 8.1 on Macbook via BootCamp and you have had a problems: Unable to increase the maximum brightness when using Windows on a Macbook. The display screen will not stay at the brightness level you really want, it's probably because the adaptive brightness feature it not running right on your system operation.
Normally, it really would be good to have the feature really work in your device. Here's how to do it if you still want to disable.
First, you select the Battery icon in the bottom taskbar >> Select More Power Options. In this tutorial, I'm performing on Windows 8.1 and doing the same for Windows 7 on Mabook.
In here, click-right the "Change plan settings" from link on the selected Plan at the Power Option.
Continue to select Change Advanced Power Settings
In the windows that just appears, you scroll down and find the Display >> Choose Enable Adaptive Brightness. Change the settings there to OFF includes On Battery and Plugged
Finally, click OK to save.
Now, you can use the shortcut key Fn + F1 and Fn + F2 to increase or decrease the display screen when using Windows on a Macbook.
